It’s essential to enter it with an understanding of educational priorities and goals, and to evaluate progress regularly to make sure those goals are being met. The choice of school and teacher are also critical to setting a young artist up for performance career. With College Coaching, parents and students are offered an overview of the current state of the singing business and how to best prepare for it, what to expect from different phases of education, how to choose the undergraduate or graduate school and teacher that are right for the individual student, an evaluation of the student’s current strengths and weaknesses, advice on audition repertoire and preparation, and a copy of Cindy’s book, The Student Singers' Starter Kit.
